Genuine loose gold leaf for gilding ( Ægte bladguld til forgylderi )
Genuine loose gold leaf are available in 23 3/4 carat and 22 carat. Loose gold leaf are suitable for general gilding. It comes in the size of 80mmx80mm in 25 leaf per booklet. Each gold leaf is placed between sheets of thin rouged paper. The gilder can remove one gold leaf at a time without disturbing the rest of the remaining leaf. The loose gold leaf can be removed from the booklet with a gilders' tip which is made of genuine squirrels hair that is also available in our store. The packaging of the gold leaf is 25 leaf per booklet with 20 booklet per packet.
For outdoor use, the 23 3/4 carat genuine gold leaf is the best for the job.
For the genuine gold leaf, we did not put in the pictures of the leaf according to their carat as they might be discrepancies in colour from the leaf to the pictures. Therefore, we have only stated the pricing for the gold leaf. However, we do have sealed-in sample leaf. You can order the chart if you need them.

Genuine transfer gold leaf for gilding (Ægte overførings bladguld til forgylderi)
Transfer gold leaf is available in 23 3/4 carat and 22 carat. Transfer gold leaf is mounted on a special tissue paper by a pressure process. Each transfer gold leaf is separated from each other with a thin rouged paper. The transfer gold leaf can be removed individually without disturbing each other by the gilder. Transfer gold leaf will stay on the tissue until it is pressed onto the prepare surface and this tissue backing is removed. The transfer gold leaf can be removed from the booklet without the aid of a gilders' tip. Transfer gold leaf is necessary for outdoor work or where conditions are not suitable for use of normal loose gold leaf. However transfer gold leaf is not recommended for water gilding but it is best suited for large flat surfaces. Transfer gold leaf is sensitive to changes in temperature and humidity. It is best to store them in plastic wrap.
Transfer gold leaf also comes as 80mmx80mm leaf with 25 leaf per booklet like the normal loose gold leaf. It is 20 booklet in a packet and that is equivalent to 500 leaf per packet.
