The pneumatic chisels are built for granite carving. However, you can use them for other material. The carbide tip quality of the pneumatic chisels are very solid carbide therefore if you are using them for your stone carving job for other material other than granite, it should not be a problem.
The pneumatic chisels that you can find here are lettering chisels, shock chisels and pointed end chisels. These pneumatic chisels come in the shank of 10.2mm , 12.5mm , 15.5mm, 15mm and tapered shank . In the case of tapered shank , you can use it on the chicago stone hammer.
One main point to remember when using carbide chisels is : do not give a lever of movement but always let your carbide chisels or pneumatic chisels "dance" on the stone. |
